I make one style of duck call, an Arkansas single reed style.  I believe it is the most versatile and reliable hunting call.  I also make a Canada Goose Flute.

I use Cocobolo inserts (the small end of the call) for all my calls  except the Rosewood call which is made completely of Rosewood.   Most hardwoods work fine for the barrel of the call but can't achieve the sound of Cocobolo,  or Rosewood, which is why I use Cocobolo for the insert.  

I have a wide selection of woods that can be used upon request.

I have recently built a new shop, to try to increase production a bit and keep the noise away from my wife.

Phil Doss from Louisiana: Hey Paul, I got my call a couple of days ago and it is FINE. The call is beautiful, easy to blow, and the sound is very ducky. I have several other calls and they don't even come close. I have three sons and they all hunt with me and now their calls aren't good enough. Check your orders, you will find a few more from me!!

Every call is unique as it is individually hand-crafted ~ there is no mass production here.  Each call has an oil finish.  The oil is applied inside and out with three coats on the exterior covered by two coats of wax which are applied at high speed and polished to a beautiful hard finish.
